Hearing is important for communication, social connection and safety. For adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), hearing loss can often go unnoticed, leading to challenges like social isolation, frustration and reduced quality of life.

At the Mercer Center for IDD Care, we provide hearing care tailored to the unique needs of adults with IDD. Our team uses engaging methods, like games and videos, to make hearing tests more comfortable and effective. We also work closely with other specialists, like speech-language pathologists and occupational therapists, to support communication goals and ensure hearing aids or other tools are used successfully.

We’re here to help you or your loved one hear better and stay connected to the world around them.
